What has been happening at Wags and Wrinkles?

We are amazed at how fast this year has gone by! Have you felt the same way? We've been busy caring for our lovely dog family and enjoying the changing seasons in Tennessee! I have plenty of updates and news for you! Grab a cup of coffee with Pumpkin Spice cream and settle in to catch up on all the latest from Wags and Wrinkles! OK, It might not be enough news to justify the coffee, but it's fall, and any excuse for a cup of happiness is welcome! 😄

We currently have four puppies from our Cannoli/Tanner litter born at the end of May. They are all boys, and we are eager to find them their forever homes before they grow much older. If you've been wanting one of our puppies but couldn't afford the full price, now is your chance to get one of these adorable pups at a discount. Or maybe you're considering adding another Hippo to your family! Feel free to message us privately to discuss the details. We hope to have them settled in new homes within a couple of weeks, so don't hesitate to reach out!

Check out these pictures to see just how cute these pups are! (L-R Jamison, Juno, Jensen, and Jackson)

These puppies are real people lovers! They enjoy being around me (or one of my sisters) and following me everywhere! If you know Hippos, you know their tails are always wagging, and most of the time, their whole body shows they are happy and excited to be with you! We caught Juno in a rare snuggle moment, and he looks so serious in the picture above!

During this year, we realized it was time to retire a couple of our mommas. It's always a bit sad to make that decision, knowing our time with them is coming to an end. Getting to know each dog's personality and what makes them happiest is always enjoyable. I can't tell you how pleased we are that we found fantastic homes for each of our retirees.

On a brighter note, we welcomed a pair of 'bonded' SharPei sisters to our family. They are incredibly sweet and absolutely adorable! Both are bear coat, Maizey is tan and white, while Pickles (now Nezzie) is a beautiful solid gray. They have outgoing personalities and are on the smaller side, so their puppies will likely mature to around 30 lbs. We can't wait to see the pups these sweet girls will have!

Maizey:

Isn't Maizey just adorable? You want to pet her don't you?

Nezzie:

Now, when you see Nezzie's pictures, what's the first word that comes to mind? BEAR, right?! She's so fluffy! Honestly, they are both as soft as they appear! I wish you could reach through your phone and feel them!

We are working hard to increase our presence on social media. I know many of you already follow us on FB, IG and Twitter (X), if you don't please hit the follow button to expand our audience. Many of our wonderful homes have been found through Facebook, IG and Twitter (X).

Those of you who have gotten a puppy from us - when we are talking with someone about our pups they usually ask the following questions: 'What do they look like when they are grown up?' and 'What are their personalities like?' If you have one of our pups, could you send us a picture of them and just a couple lines describing what stands out to you as a Mini Hippo family?

Cheerio until next time! It won't be so long until my next post.....I promise!
